Let’s talk teacher besties! @fabulousfigs has been the most amazing and incredible bestie! We taught on the same team for eight wonderful years (until this year 😭). We even got a chance to teach next door to each other and we had the most amazing time together! I’m so thankful she came into my life.

Lorena and her husband were recently in a terrible car accident and they are now recuperating at home. It was such a terrifying few hours before we knew if they were safe. In those hours, so many thoughts raced through my head and one of them was that I hoped she knew exactly what she means to me. She is a gift and ray of light. Lorena, I love you so much!

These are the moments that put things into perspective and remind us to tell our special people how much we care.

I’m terrified of needles but I will do anything it takes to get back to normal as soon as possible.

I had the Pfizer vaccine and thankfully had no side effects except for upper arm pain.

My grandma and dad also got the Pfizer vaccines and had no side effects.

My hubby had the Moderna vaccine and he felt a little lethargic, but that’s about it.

My mom and brother got the J&J vaccine and they had fevers, chills, extreme soreness, and nausea for a few days.
