January means it’s time to teach about penguins and other polar animals. I’ve been using a flipbook to record our learning about penguins over the years and it’s been a favorite!
I wanted to create something similar for our littles that is just as engaging, but at their level. My wheels started spinning and I came up with these new flipbooks:
Now let’s talk prep work. This simple-cut design makes these ridiculously easy to use! There is zero prep work required for the teacher! 🙌🏽
Just copy the page you want to use along with the topper. I made sure to include a few different options for easy differentiation. Students can even use glue to adhere them so you’re not having to staple 20+ books during class time. 😍
Everything you need for the flipbook is on ONE page! The topper adds a fun touch, but if you don’t have time for that, it’s not necessary.
The sample above shows the version with the most scaffolding. I also included pages with just lines (both primary and standard) along with a version with no lines for you to choose from.
