One of my goals was to blog more often. So thankful for Five for Friday or I’d probably never blog! Here are some things we’ve been up to 🙂
1. I’m super late on updating my bookcase. It still looks like this, even though I’m already reading new books. So much to do!
2. I made my kids new bookmarks! They are obsessed with their Melonheadz pictures! I used my name tag file to create them. They are the perfect size!
3. You can see them below as name tags fro the beginning of the year. Also, see the square badge on the side? My friend Ashley from @teachcreatemotivate made them. They have been amazing! Instead of me reminding my kids about a rule that they are breaking, I ask them to read their goal reminder and they do it, then self reflect and are back on track! I LOVE them! They are a classroom must have!
4. We did the blubber challenge and the kids went nuts! My mentor teacher showed me how to do this 10 years ago and I’ve done it every year since! Always a hit!
5. I updated my lightbox recently. This design is one of my favorites!
