Light Box Craze and Organization!

Whoop whoop! The amazing Tara has started up Monday Made It weekly and I’m a *tad* excited 🙂 It’s only my favorite link up ever!

So onto my Made Its! Have you joined the light box craze? Well, they are pretty amazing! You can pick one up by clicking HERE. I got mine from Michael’s and it was on sale for 40% off. So as I was shopping I was about to buy a bunch of things to go with it and I needed letters. I wasn’t crazy about the letters that I saw there, so that got my creative juices flowing because I wanted something with cute images and fonts! I got to work measuring my template and the end result turned out much better than I expected. This is what it looks like:

Cute light box designs that you can customize!

Want to make your own? Just follow these steps:

1. Measure your slide openings. This might vary depending on which light box you get.

2. Print your designs on transparency sheets. (The old school kind we used to use with overhead projectors.) Make sure to get the right kind for your printer. I used laser jet ones with my ink jet and the ink did not adhere 🙁 So make sure to use the right kind your printer requires.

3. Cut and make sure to stay on the lines. My trusty paper trimmer saved the day!

4. Assemble it and make sure it lines up.

5. Slide them in to your light box. They slide in pretty easily 🙂

I have been super busy trying to get more organized! I made a couple of things to keep me on track! The first being my binders. I like to keep everything in binders and love having cute looking ones to look at.
